Got iPhone? Of course, you do. I’m on the annual iPhone Upgrade Program and that sends you to the head of the line each year. I made my order and answered the doorbell when the UPS driver stopped by with my iPhone 11 Pro Max.
What color was it? It doesn’t matter. iPhones are supercomputers in your pocket and they need– no, demand– a case; for protection. Last night my wife asked me what color her new iPhone 11 Pro should be. I told here the same thing. It doesn’t matter. Get whatever color case you like because you won’t see the iPhone inside.
Then she asked, “Is there a way to get a cover for that butt-ugly trio of camera lenses on the back?” I laughed. She scowled. Then I remembered the Apple Card cases on sale. Are then lens covers for iPhone 11 Pro models?
It didn’t take long to find someone who already had a list of iPhone 11 Pro Max Camera Lens Protectors for 2019.
Good grief. What is humanity coming to? Where will such protections end? How many more ways are there to spend money on the gadgets we just spent money on? Then I remembered my DLSRs. Every lens has a lens cover.
Many iPhone cases are great for safeguarding corners and screens. However, since the triple camera is more prone to impacts and scratches than previous models, it’s a good idea to provide extra protection.
From what I can see, the protective lenses and cases differ. Some are just lens protectors– lenses themselves that pop onto the iPhone’s lenses. The rest appear to be a package cover– a square (with rounded corners, obviously) that pops over all three lenses, the flash, and sensor to offer more protection.
Of course, there’s the waterproof underwater photography case with a full-body cover and a built-in lens protector. Not bad at $23.
Hey, if your physical Apple Card needs a case to prevent denim and leather from mucking it up, then your new iPhone needs a camera lens cover, too.
Why? Because Apple.
