Interesting take on why Safari is a better browser on iPhone than Google’s Chrome from Zak Doffman:
Apple has made privacy a USP—albeit with mixed success, remember the Siri recordings? Google, meanwhile, is the world’s most sophisticated advertising platform and is only really rivalled by Facebook. Monetising consumer data is at the heart of its business model. And while the advertising industry will argue that serving tailored content to users enhanced their experience, I have yet to meet anyone who relished being micro-targeted. And that’s before we shift from commerce to the behavioural manipulation that such datasets and micro targeting enables.
Excellent read on why Safari is better for privacy. Don’t use Chrome.
